Uttama Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Thailand since 2007, focusing on dhamma, education, health, livelihood, and social welfare.
Following the death of Ven. Uttama (Phra Raj Udom Mongkol) on 18th October 2006 (aged 96), a group of Thai-Mon disciples, led by Sumit Punnakari, wanted to continue the legacy works of Ven. Uttama, submitted a registration of Uttama Foundation and granted under the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on 24th November 2007 (Registration No. Kor Tor 1685).
Uttama Foundation is headquartered in Bangkok with a branch office in Kanchanaburi, where we’re supporting Rainbow School, a boarding school for students from ethnic groups along the Thai-Myanmar border.
