Uttama Foundation is planning to launch the Mon Migrant Workers Upskill Project in 2026, targeting 1 million Mon migrant workers in Thailand.

There are estimated 3 million Mon migrant workers currently working in Thailand, mostly in Samutsakorn, Samutprakarn, and Bangkok. With AI entering workplaces, it is very important that Mon migrant workers are trained in AI among other skills to stay relevant and productive in the AI age.

The Buddha Gaya Pagoda in Sangkhlaburi is modeled after the Buddha Gaya Pagoda in Gaya, India, where the Buddha attained enlightenment. Both pagodas are symbols of enlightenment, and upon visits to both pagodas, we will be encouraged to practice dhamma in order to attain enlightenment in the footsteps of the Buddha.
